  • Average Speed (when acceleration is constant)= [(Initial Speed + Final Speed) /2 ]
    Sav = [ (10 + 470)/2 ] = 240 kilometers/hour


  • Distance Travelled= Average Speed x Time of Acceleration
    5520 = 240 x T
    5520 / 240 = T = 23 hours


  • Final Speed = Initial Speed + Acceleration x Time of Acceleration
    470 = 10 + A x 23
    ( 470 - 10 ) / 23 = A = 20 kilometers/hour2
