  • Given- acceleration = 8 meters/second2
It means speed increase by 8 meters/second in every 1 second.
The car intial speed is 10 meters/second and the final speed is 402 meters/second.
It means the speed increases by (402-10)
    = 392 meters/second
Speed increases by 8 meters/second in 1 second.
So, speed increase by 1 meter/second in (1/8) second.
So, speed increase by 392 meter/second in (1/8)x392 seconds.
    = 49 seconds
