  • Solve:-
    Let A1, A2, A3, A4,.... and A9 be 9 numbers between 35 and 65 such that

    35, A1, A2, A3, A4,....A9, 65 are in A.P.

    Here, a = 35, b = 65, n = 11,

    Therefore, 65 = 35 + (11 –1)d

    => 30 = 10 d

    so that d = 3

  • Thus,
    A1, A2, A3, A4, ......... A9

    = (35+3), (35+2*3), (35+3*3), (35+ 4*3), ...., (35+9*3)

    = 38, 41, 44, 47, ...., 62

    Hence, 9 numbers between 35 and 65 are 38, 41, 44, 47, .... and 62
